He might be called “a true son of Gunnedah” having lived here most of his life!
Mark’s family has farmed the area since the late 1800’s and has always been involved in livestock – breeding, fattening and marketing. He continues the cattle breeding enterprise, turning off young stock in even the most trying climatic conditions.
Mark has a lifelong love and knowledge of horses, primarily thoroughbreds and stock horses, having had an early flirtation with polo. He’s still trying to breed that elusive Group 1 winner.
His love of fast animals extends to racing dogs where he is often spotted and has been known to race a winner.
Mark has built a reputation as a caring, responsive vet – knowledgeable, always ready for a chat and to discuss your veterinary needs.
